Every meaningful journey begins with a single spark. The seeds of Curious of Istanbul were planted in a small restaurant called 'Meraklı' — meaning 'curious' in Turkish — where two friends dared to ask: Can we create something that defies time, carries the mark of human hands, and tells the story of a city?

The Colour of Our Soul

Our name comes from that relentless curiosity. Our colour comes from Istanbul itself — the erguvan tree, whose violet blooms cascade down the Bosphorus hills each spring, guided our palette and our spirit. Like the erguvan, we strive for designs that are natural, deeply rooted, and timeless.
